"Sovereign Kyrgyzstan and International Diplomacy"
Dear ladies and gentlemen!
Since the time Kyrgyzstan gained independence, it has established bilateral and multilateral diplomatic relations with all leading countries of the world, as well as authoritative international organizations, including the UN, UNESCO, IMF, and has managed to establish mutually beneficial relations. Active and constructive bilateral diplomacy has been established with the countries of the Turkic world, mostly with Turkey, and with neighboring countries, especially with China. For the 30 years history of its sovereignity Kyrgyzstan has faced many important and topical issues that need to be solved and require scientific, political and historical analysis.
The purpose of the international conference "Sovereign Kyrgyzstan and International Diplomacy" is to evaluate the work of the foreign policy of the independent Kyrgyz Republic for the last 30 years and examine successes and shortcomings of the Kyrgyz diplomacy.
The main directions of the conference:
- The history of diplomatic relations with the Republic of Turkey, its impact on the development of the economy, culture and education of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- The history of bilateral relations with the People's Republic of China, its impact on the development of the economy, culture and education of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- The history of bilateral relations with Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, their impact on the development of the economy, culture and education of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- The Turkic world and independent Kyrgyzstan: the significance and role of diplomatic relations.
The international scientific conference will be held online on December 24, 2021 at the Kyrgyz-Turkish ‘Manas’ University. Diplomats and diplomatic missions accredited in Kyrgyzstan will be invited to the international scientific conference.
